Count Down

19 Days till the first day of school - Sounds like a lot but it's not!
7 of those days are weekends and a holiday Monday
1 of those days I have an all day meeting at school

That leaves 11 actual days of holiday!

Let me take a peek at the TO DO LIST BEFORE SCHOOL STARTS

RENOVATION CHORES:
- help husband rip down mother-in-law's old shed
- help husband build new shed (from kit)
- help husband drywall our basement washroom
- paint basement washroom
- pick out flooring for washroom (husband will install on his own)
- shop for/purchase/set-up furniture for spare bedroom/soon-to-be office
- paint spare bedroom

SCHOOL WORK:
- one full day staff meeting at school
- new for this year; put entire years lesson plans for every subject with curricular outcomes on a computer program (we used to just write up an overview without outcomes) This will probably take two days, IF I can figure out how to do it! New computer programs and me don't get along!
- 3 or 4 days to set up the classroom and prepare for the new year

MEDICAL:
- annual physical/bloodwork YUCK
- teeth cleaned and dental check-up (fingers crossed there are NO CAVITIES)

SOCIAL: Somehow I don't have trouble with this part of my list.
- monthly dinner with 3 supergood teaching friends: my turn to host dinner
- attend BBQ invitation at friend's house
- entertain and host two more dinner parties; one for good friends of husband, and one for extended family
- manicure/pedicure with my niece
- attend the performance of "Wicked" with my daughter and sister-in-law
- family picnic/baseball game
- any invitations that just pop up between now and then
- spend a weekend out-of-town, listening to my son's band perform
- babysit brother's dog for four days
- BLOG????????????????

Those are just the things I can remember and know about. Then there is the daily meals, dishes, laundry, housework, etc.

Can it be done before school starts?? Stay tuned.....or if I disappear for awhile, you'll know what I'm up too:)
